RR: I have read a few of your articles and like your angle on things. I used to be a political junkie (and maybe still am but in a different way). Everyone should assume that our minds are not cast 100% in concrete for eternity.
In my first novel, I have a minor character, Rich Ridell, coming to the conclusion that his life-long hobby of the Republican Party has been a wasted effort. He then stumbles onto a new way of governance--and moves his political energy from the Republicans to this new way.
