Well said about municipal politics. I have said several times on Medium that Mr. Trump would not rise very high in the TDG because he would have to spend time at the lower levels of governance. I just can't see him deliberating about whether or not to put a $200,000 crosswalk light set on Fifth Avenue. But this is the exact kind of training higher level politicians need to have before they tackle the "bigger" issues.

The Godfather movies are indeed very profound in several ways. One thing I got was how nerve racking having that kind of life must have been. At any time, a mafioso could be taken down in several ways by several people. It's too hard of like to keep watching over your back. I need to watch those movies again.

Many of the homeless are too psychological damaged to participate effectively in current democracy. The one thing I like about the TDG is that even the psychologically damaged should be able to identify someone with "good character and capacity for governance" at a local level and cast their vote in a wise direction. But this assumes that somehow we can house these people somehow such that they belong to a neighborhood.

Covid is starting to show that we don't need all this office space. Hmmmmmm.
