When will people realize that western deocracy is breaking down--and it's time for average people to build a new one?

The wealthy, politically elite, academics, media, and vested interests are neither going to repair our current democracy nor build this new democracy. All the voting, protesting, and writing internet articles won't change things.

We have to build this new democracy ourselves. Working for this solution will be better for our health than reading dystopia.
