Sorry, I have to make another plug for my Tiered Democratic Governance. We won't get the political leadership in these times because that leadership would lose the next election. This is why we need another system.

Circa 2000, Alberta experienced an electricity shortage. When the weather gets -30, more electriticy is required. Our premier told everyone it was OK to plug in our Christmas lights. Some parts of Alberta suffered brownouts, but that was only a few voters.
