Sorry that you and many others had to go through with this. These are life-changing events that cascade through the rest of one's life. Sometimes I wonder at why we aren't more screwed up as a society.

While we have moved forward from 1961, we still have a long ways to go. And we just might be going back to 1961.

I can't see the legal system ever providing a good mechanism to determine consent vs. no consent, especially with so much emotional trauma abound. I wonder if there will be a day when such a man will be judged by the pattern that is following around him rather than "beyond a a reasonable doubt."
