Statesmanship is indeed an important skill for politicians to have. Sometimes difficult things need to be said, but choice of words is so important.

Mr. Trump was no statesman. Yet many people still voted for him. I have a solution for that!

BTW, I am wondering if there is a neutral or feminine version of the word "statesmanship."

As the war in Ukraine broke out, I was so impressed by Mr. Trudeau's three female ministers somehow responsible with shepharding Canada through this political minefield. Their words were so well chosen.
