Thanks for your interest in the TDG.

For a quick explanation, how about:

1) No political parties

2) No noisy election campaigns

3) Voting based on good character and capacity for governance.

4) Deliberations based on consultation, collaboration, and consensus.

5) An advisory board focused on the process of the reaching decisions rather than on reaching the decisions.

Item's 1 to 3 were in my previous comment. I added #4 and #5 to give you a 40-word description of the TDG. Just as it is hard to explain western democracy in 40 words, the TDG cannot be simply explained either. Almost everyone reading the 40 words can so easily dismiss the TDG as an unattainable utopia.

Umair has written some fantastic essays on his eudanomics. He can't explain it in 40 words.
