Steven: I’m not sure I can help you much. But here are my points:

1. I think many politicians should release their tax returns for public inspection. I would have no trouble releasing mine (I have nothing to hide).
2. I spent six years in party politics, and I saw how good people had to compromise their integrity to become and stay elected. It’s just a part of the process.
3. In my time in party politics, I saw why our political systems are quasi- dysfunctional. Somehow, I invented another system, which does away with political parties.
