Thank you for introducing this topic to me. While Medium has not performed for me the way I would like, every once in a while, I learn about something new and useful, which kind of justifies my presence here.

There is a quote somewhere in the Bible that says something like "The sins of the father are passed down four generations." I interpret that quote as a primitive understanding of epigenetics.

My great grandfather fought for the Austrians in WW1. He spent two years in a Russian POW camp. I think I still living some of this trauma.
