Just to ensure that I am not misunderstood, if a woman gets naked and dances on a guy's lap and says "That is all," the guy has to stop. If he does not stop, then he should go to prison.

Even if most men in this sitution do stop, I would still give them "stupid awards" for putting themselves in that situation in the first place, where hormones might overrule good judgement. And now that MeToo has shed some more light on this social issue, such men are more likely to find some time in a police interropation room. My "practical advice" to these men: "Just stay away from these situations."

I can take a walk at 3:00 a.m. in my home town with no worries. Many women would not be comfortable walking alone at that time of night. While we would probably agree that we need to change this part of our culture, the world is not perfect. "Practical advice" need to be considered.

I'm not sure whether you read my "Promiscuity and Politics" article. I talk about a former roommate who had sex with 200 different women in a year. He was quite successful in meeting a woman and bringing her to his bed an hour or two later.

To him, women were just playthings. Something to manipulate for pleasure. A conquest. To me, he was a misogynist. To other misogynists, he was a hero.

Just because he was not a rapist does not make him a "good" guy. He was still a misogynist. He was contributing to a culture that suggests women are easy for the taking. And women complied.

I recognize that I am not politically correct at this moment, but I do see a connection between casual sex and our current state of misogyny. If my former roommate can find 200 lovers a year, it's not hard for a misogynistic thinker to believe those conquests could also be his. The circle keeps rolling.
