On another internet forum (in 2017), I often said that Trump is a warning shot across the bow. The USA needs to take a good look at itself. Trump 1.0 was not much danger, but Trump 2.0 would be. It seems Trump has learned things to morph in Trump 2.0.

Up until the Harris coronation, I thought the election would be a coin flip. Even if Trump won, the Republican would face violence from the left--and the R's would mismanage it. They would be fairly inept in dictatorship governance. Much of their own base would turn against them.

If Harris gets a handy win, many on the political left will dance in the street-----and totally forget how close the USA came to that "hot civil war." This still might happen.

The USA needs to cast aside its 19th century democracy and build something new. Otherwise we will "keep replaying this game."
