I'm a fan of Oak Island, but I'm suspicious of most reality TV shows. Some are altered a little, some a lot. This show gives all the highlights, but I wager there is hours and hours of looking at dirt to get those highlights.

So I listened to your "Oak Island" podcast. Your explanation of the Knights Templar was intriguing. The dates do not match. Still possible, but the odds are small. The show has overemphazed this hypothesis. But that hypothesise probably does help keep the fans glued. Advertisers pay much of the bills.
