Thanks for the background information. I was wondering why the drive-through voting was more likely in black districts.

My Canadian experience is such that lineups are not a big problem. At most, someone might have to wait an hour from entering the building to exiting it, having cast a ballot. I'm usually done in 15 minutes.

Too many voting experiences that take more than an hour is a big problem. If it can't be fixed, then that is another sign of a crumbling order.

Maybe you have some insights into why the D's are so against voter ID before getting a ballot. That's another mystery to me.

And don't get me wrong, some of the things the R's are doing are not right.
