That was a unique analysis. Unfortunately the term "politics" has morphed into a whole bunch of amorphous definitions. For example, "I didn't get the raise because of office politics."
In my writing, I have tried to separate the terms "politics" and "governance" is two distinct actions. "Politics" refers to actions to be or stay elected or to rise within the politics party. "Governance" belongs to actions that destined to change society.
But that amorphous thing comes up again.
