THe book is called "Open Democracy" by Elene Landemore.

It was pretty pricy for an ebook: $35. But I'm glad I bought it; for me, it was good to know where some of the political scientists are at when it comes to reforming democracy. It's a nice summary of the more innovative of this field.

Yep, we could make this lottery more entertaining. Sending people off the island would be great. Then bring a few back on with obscure rules! We could be rich.
