The ceremonial president has allure to me. I followed the politics of Slovakia after the "Velvet Divorce". The Slovak president has no official power, but can sure say things that need to be said.
Congress has been hamstrung for several decades, voting mostly on partisan lines, more interested in what the donors want rather than want the people want. Turning the US president into a ceremonial roles means nothing will ever get done.
Americans need to start driving a new, modern car. Not tinkering with a vehicle from 1787.
