The Chinese medical people were telling us in January that Covid-19 was more infectious and more lethal than the average flu. So your numbers in the first paragraph are within reason.

Speaking only for Canada, we only get tested if we are showing flu-like symptoms. So it’s a little hard for me to see that the untested will have the same Covid rate as the tested.

As for the estimated 2.2 million deaths, Sweden, which really didn’t have a lock down orders, is not approaching a death rate of 1% of its population. So maybe we need to put that 2.2 model on hold for a while.
