The cry of "democracy" is part reality, part illusion. I think the illusion part is getting bigger. My sense of history is that maybe from 1950 to 1990 is when the people had a reasonable amount of power.

As you have read my Asimov article, I surmise that you see the fall of democracy as plausible. And yet I too many people on Medium trying to believe the fall is not possible.

So where do we move from here?
