This system has no political parties. If this is the direction we want to go, then it would be silly to assume the current system is going to deliver those changes for us. In Chapter 6, I explain how to move from HERE to THERE.

If political parties are an unchangeable feature of democracy, then we have to make the changes, as you have suggested, from within. Except the USA has not amended its constitution in 50 years. So I am seeing your list mostly as wishful thinking, unlikely to ever happen.

Or we can just go with the changes the Republicans are suggesting. They seem to have a plan that is possible to implement.
