The first half of this essay was pretty good. Even 10 years ago, I thought conservative thinkers could hold their own ground in a discussion, even if I did not agree with them. But today, they are not making any sense to me. Now I have a better understanding for this decline.

The second half of this essay is pretty good too. Job well done in explaining these social forces.
