The founding fathers, full of flaws and great ideas, had a disdain for partisan politics. They envisioned a system of governance where each representative votes their own conscience and/or will of the people who elected them.
Somehow the political parties came into the picture. As time passed, the elected members voted more for their parties than the way the founding fathers envisioned.
It’s time to re-invent the system. No more political parties!
