The lady asked a question. I responded with my answer.
I have not bothered any of your threads for a couple of years. You asked nicely, I respected. There's maybe another four or so contributors I have treated similarly.
If Umair asked me to stop, I would. But I don't think he reads much Medium stuff outside his own articles. I do dog on to Umair's daily rant once a month, and I believe it has been the biggest source of my followers. I leave his other 29 monthly articles alone.
I read quite a few articles and responses on Medium. There are other people promoting their own stuff more than I am.
You can report me if you want. If I am kicked off, that might be doing me a favor. Without my ulterior motive, I have little reason to be here. Being here just for "fun" will not move the world forward.
And some people do like my stuff--even though I haven't converted them yet. When the political temperature gets colder, that's when they'll start thinking about "this crazy Canadian with a new democracy."
Or maybe some real people in Medium might take a closer look at my stuff--and realize I am offering a new vision for democracy. They could break this TDG to the rest of the world by adjusting their algorithms for my articles to show on more feeds. No longer will I be one of the 85% of contributors who get 20 or so reads per article.
This elevation is probably a long shot. I am willing to take this risk.
