The masks and vaccines are no longer the issue. There is a significant minority who want to take control of the political agenda. They are united poilticially and show signs of working toward a forceful takeover. Whatever happens in the USA after the 2022 or 2024 elections will likely happen in Canada.

Like it or not, the politicians are consciously or unconsciously pandering to this minority. Letting go of the mask mandates just might be a better alternative than giving this demographic more reason to beller and organize.

COVID is showing signs of mutating to a common flu--just like the Spanish Flu did.

The masks are a no-brainer. They are much easier to wear than a hard hat or a necktie. I suspect they are easier to wear than a bra or high heeled shoes

Doug Ford actually had an astute comment on this COVID about a year ago. He said something like: "We can either send our kids to school or we can sit in bars. We can't do both."

We need a system of governance where most citizens take common sense advice from the government. But there is so much distrust.
