What are your readers supposed to do, Umair? Where’s your call to action?

To me, you are part of the problem. You are writing pieces that more or less say the same thing each time. Yet, with the exception as Elizabeth Warren as your messiah, you offer no solution.

Ah, Medium doles out a little money to its contributors. And the more popular contributors get more money. Is that the purpose for these articles?

To all Umair followers, I will say that western democracy is breaking down. We all know that. What are you going to do?

You can continue to read Umair articles and go “tsk, tsk, America”. That must be very satisfying to be so righteous.

Or you read about a new system of governance that should deal with all the bad things Umair is writing about. But that would take a little extra work than going “tsk, tsk” and waiting for the next Umair article.
