While I didn't like some of what George Bush 2 did, he stayed out of personal scandal. And he stayed within the confines of the Constitution. I mostly remember his last year: he was so tired of the job.
I liked Mr. Obama. He too stayed out af personal scandal. Unfortunately that did not count in many people's minds. He would have had difficulty passing a bill that said "the sky is blue." So many people wanted to see him fail just because he was black.
USA has many good people for public service. We just need a way to find them and put them in these positions.
