The term “Progressive Conservative”, seemingly an oxymoron, are slowly fading from Canadian discourse. Political re-alignment has dropped the term “Progressive” from the party name in Alberta and federally, but retaining the word “conservative”. No more PC’s in Saskatchewan for a few decades now.

I am wondering if dropping the “progressive” term has given conservatives some permission to no longer consider the needs of others not in the conservative tribe any more.
