The trouble is that successful revolutionaries do not have a good history of adopting democratic principles. The leaders are more focused on keeping the power they have acquired. So I'm not anticipating a civil war being the path to the TDG.
I started this project in 1997. But it wasn't until 2009 that I finally put all the pieces together. I finally understood that we could not build the TDG overnight and expect it to be successful. I think we will need about 20 years to build the necessary culture to make the TDG work. But 10 years is possible if the early builders get real serious and the TDG membership goes with the flow of its decision makers.
I predict that there will be a lot of civil unrest in USA. The GDP will take a hit, but for the most part the nation will carry on----just like many European countries did in WW2. We can still build the TDG during this period of civil unrest. Not my preference, but I was ready in 2009 when things were more sane.
