The turnover of writers on Medium is quite high. I stay away from top writers.

I have read many articles who whose writers get a similar traction as I am getting. Maybe a bit more, but nothing to call it an occupation.

Most writers realize that they will not get the recognition they want from this forum. So they leave.

Until Medium is able to attract a whole bunch of READERS ONLY willing to pay a small subscription, this forum will be mostly writer trying to get recognition from other writers.
