The world needs more article like this. Far too often certain events get sensationalized, and other events are buried. We can’t make the right public policy decisions.

For example, the 3,000 deaths of 911 justified the invasion of two countries, and both invasions have proven to be failures in reforming the world. Yet the USA has 40,000 traffic accident deaths a year. Enforcement of current traffic rules could reduce that by half — yet Americans prefer their freedom not to be harassed by police.
