There are indeed many interpretations of the same Scriptures. The ones to stay away from are those who say they understand what God really means.

My wife and I like the videos from Andy Stanley. He has a different take on Scriptures. Non-Christians (like myself) can take away some good life lessons from many of his sermons.

While BYC might be offending some Christians, they are showing what is wrong with many congregations by emphasizing the theology too much.
