There are indeed similarities between the "electoral" structure of communism and the TDG. I would say that the original engineers (Mark & Engels) and I were on similar thinking.
What happened was that communism quickly became a top-down electoral process as opposed to a bottom-up. For example, any CCP delegate who voted against Xi Jinping as president is probably on a career downward spiral.
There are things we need to learn to make the TDG work as it is supposed to work. In Chapter 6, I describe the process to move from HERE to THERE, while learning those important skills and attitudes.
