There are more than a few issues that do not have a precise "right or wrong" to them. Democracies have been somewhat good at helping society work through these issues. This article suggests that making changes requires time and effort--and maybe that is a good thing.

But this feature is being lost, with people preferring a quick fix to get their utopia--with little concern for people who think differently.

It is time for a new way.
