There is a fellow named "Lessig" who writes on Medium. I think I am following him. Is this the same fellow?

I often wonder if the D's will take a preemptive strike on American democracy. Many on the political left would prefer a D oligarchy over another Trump victory. This scenario is plausible.

What too many advocates of western democracy fail to realize is that close elections are not a mandate. Rather than blame partisan interference from the other side (and ignore the antics of our side), the parties should develop a vision that does not put them in a coin-flip election. The margin of victory should be high enough such that a little bad administration or partisan cheating would not have flipped the result.
