There is definitely a double standard here.

A competent news anchor in Canada was recently fired because she was getting too old. I didn't notice because there was always a lot of cleverly applied makeup to make her 15 years younger. But it seems the "focus group" saw through the charade.

But yes we need to get back to discussing policies. I'm not sure that is possible with "winners and losers".

It's time for a new way.
