There was another article on Medium that explained the legal implications of this case. (I should have saved the link, but I didn't). Anyways, the jury had lots of grounds to acquit--and they did. In a future time, we might forbid firearms at protest rallies, but until that law is changed . . . .

Anyways, good job on the presenting the other side of the story. It was interesting that the Arberry case went the other way. Maybe the justice system is working reasonably well.
