There's probably a fuzzy grey line between control for psychopathic reasons and control for more personal choice. While I liked making the decisions, I don't think I was on some power trip. But one never knows for sure.

For sure, it is hard working under people with power trips. They do use the paycheck to keep a worker under a thumb.
