There's so much paradox in "explanation." The protesters in this article already have the answer. They need no explanation. They are quite willing to invest a new system of governance where they and maybe 10-15% of the population get to make all the decisions.

The protesters got this way because the of conflict, contention, and contempt they see on the TV news. Both the actions of our elected political leaders and our mass media seeking advertising revenue help create this mindset. These protesters are very unlikely to partake in any Kabbalah training--or similar education to help them understand how the world works and could work. They just want more power for themselves.

What we need, in my opinion, is a more human democracy. A kinder, wiser democracy:

With this system, our governors will be providing the example the citizens need to see.

We have broken democratic systems. It is not conducive to having enough "good" people become elected. Even if "good" people are elected, it almost forces them to interact in an unKabbalist way to (1) get elected, (2) stay elected and (3) actually get a few good things done while in public office. In other words, they have to conform to this broken system, which means bending their principles.

If the protesters in Canada perceive that their society is fair and just and trustworthy, they probably would not be protesting. In the last generation, the middle class of Canadians and other western has shrunk. We are seeing the political effects of that demographic change. History has many examples of when people see little opportunity for themselves or their children, they have little to loose, so they take to the streets.
