Thirteen years ago, I found myself in education — helping adults learner acquire their high school education. I have noticed a big difference between male and female learners.

Ambitious male learners are happy with an 80% in a math exam. Ambitious female learners berate themselves when they get 90%. There is a sense of unrealistic perfection in that gender, and I wonder if that does not contribute to their anxiety.
