Casting morality aside, most prostitutes are not free agents. They are managed by pimps. They have little control of their time and income. They are psychologically prevented from looking for other work.
The average disgruntled warehouse worker has much more agency than a prostitute.
Like many things in life, there is a grey scale here. A UBI would give people a lot of agency. They would be able to make better decisions----and that will change the economy and our culture.
