The hookup culture, where women can freely enjoy sex, allows men to continue with their misogynist ways: i.e. treat women as sex objects.

All those pick-up techniques (like a hand on a knee) that are often construed as boorish and crude ....................well, ....................they sometimes work.

Misogynists just keep going because they eventually know they will find a willing partner.
