This article points to flaws in our western democratic social structure.
First, we on the outside really don’t have a full enough understanding of the situation to come to sound verdict on either the Jackson or McCann cases.
Second, the authorities, who have more expertise and resources to get to the truth, sometimes get things wrong.
Which then, thirdly, requires those of us on the outside to get to the truth, but we are bereft of talents and resources. Another Catch 22.
It’s a strange world!
