This article shows are the strengths of your political thinking:

  1. You are not writing to a base, which in turn rewards you with some Medium income.
  2. You fear not being attacked by the politically correct.
  3. You look deeper in the real causes of our social issues.

I have always felt that the racism is secondary in America to poverty. While it may be true that racism plays a role in poverty, the poverty needs to be fixed first.

Coming from Canada, I suspected the academic requirement to be a police officer in the USA was on the low side. You are the first thinker I have come across to make this statement directly. The various Canadian police forces try to weed out those recruits who have too much of a “power trip” mentality.

I appreciate your criticisms of certain African American leaders. While I can’t verify the criticisms are valid, I will give you the benefit of the doubt for there is a feature in this culture that says if one does not make it in professional sports or the entertainment industry, one is a loser in life. Or maybe to put this in another way, racism is too easily blamed for a lack of success in life. And certain leaders can make a reasonable living saying that.

Job well done. I hope this article gets lots of traction on Medium.
