This history needs to be told. But what also needs to be told are the recent histories of the Ukrainian democratic leaders. So many Ukrainians were so disgusted with the corruption, they stayed home on election day, and the ethnic Russians became the political leaders of this country.

Had the early Ukrainian leaders behaved more honestly in this early democracy, we just might have a different situation.
