This is a great lodestone for what should be shown to kids.

When Norman Lear created "All in the Family," he thought the character Archie Bunker would be seen as silly--and someone not to be. But the people like Archie Bunker saw Archie Bunker as a hero. These TV viewers tuned into the show as a confirmation of their beliefs--not how to become a better person.

In essence, Mr. Lear was able to get two diverse audiences to watch his TV show. Which is kind of good for the ratings and advertising $$$$.

Maybe we need a TV show whether the black people enslave the white people. Or maybe where the aboriginal people bring strange diseases to Europe.
