This is perhaps the fourth impeachment article I’ve seen on Medium this past two week. While I too have an opinion on this topic, we need to acknowledge that NO ONE knows what will happen if we this way or if we go that way. It’s fun to speculate, but NO ONE knows for sure.

The question that should be asked is: “How did we get to this position where an impeachment of a president is even on the table?”

My answer: “USA’s electoral systems do not find the best people for the job of governance AND the legislative structures do not give them the tools to do a good job”.

But I’m not your average complainer. I have a solution for this! How about an electoral system that is drastically different than what we have now?

Nah, let’s not go down that path.
