The only flaw with your story is that you have failed to address the fear that hospitals will be overwhelmed with this virus, whereas they can handle a regular flu season. This fear is turning out to be true as doctors and nurses are dying.
I’m not seeing an immediate solution to Covid-19. I hope that governments become more proactive after this disaster to set up protocols. Other pandemics are likely. As I put on my “thinking cap”, I think we need to resurrect the sanitarium concept where the worst causes are housed and treated in a separate hospital, maybe a temporary and somewhat mobile facility. But I have my doubts something like that will happen.
