This was a good Umair article. I have a solution to keep power-hungry people in government, but I’m not sure anyone is interested.

I like the comment about the G7 being hosted at a T resort — and no one saying much about that corruption. I would wager the final bill will vastly inflated. And yep, rubbing this corruption in our faces is worth more than the windfall profit.

Here’s another corruption. Question: How does a loser American become a board member of Ukrainian energy company? Answer: His dad used to be a vice president and there was a little quid pro quo happening. Why is nothing really being said about that? Oh, let me guess the answer: We don’t want to embarrass the D’s lest they lose again to the T’s. Isn’t democracy fun?

It’s time for a new way to govern. Don’t expect changes from Umair’s musings.
