I remember following a steam locomotive on a nostalgic trip. I would drive ahead, hit the crossing and drive to the next crossing.

I don't know why steam locomotives are so romantic from a distance. They are terrible machines to be around for any longer than an hour.

I actually rode a short distance in a Ford Model A. Thank God we don't have cars like that anymore.
