Those Covid 19 protests were scary. Assault weapons allowed in state legislatures! I think the police were scared.

Mr. Trump's response to both kinds of protests was entirely predictable. No one should have been surprised. One protest has good, honest Americans, the other has thugs.

I am amazed that the current protest movement has managed to rid itself of the anarchists that were there in the first few days. I would like to know the story behind that. For sure, there were lots of people saying "Don't loot."

I would wager Mr. Trump still prefers a strong military presence at the BLM protests. His advisors have talked him away from that (for now). The admonishment from the generals is a sign that he pushed things too far. We should not be surprised that he didn't get that message.

We should not be surprised that the USA will have some version of the "The Burning of the Reichstag" between now and November to cancel the election. But the coup will not work.

The drama shall continue, for sure. The 24/7 News Networks will be profitable.
