It’s been four months since my last article of this series. Maybe that’s a good thing. But I had a little upswing in traction in November for some strange reason which led fewer articles below my threshold. Then I had a downswing in May for some strange reason, going back to the good old days of more articles not making the threshold.

For another strange reason, this theme is my most profitable. It does not take much time to write these articles. They often get “above average” ratings (by my bottom writer standards). However, I’m still not making minimum wage. Even in a $7.25 per hour state!

In case you are reading me for the first time, I also get to introduce my ulterior motive to some new people who like clicking on articles like this. You see, I am an inventor of an alternative democracy. If we don’t change the current system, we should expect things to stay the same — or get worse. There, now you have read my promo.

To get some clue of why some articles do better than others, I have created these three categories, with about one-third of my articles in each category:

Below Average: <$0.80

Average: $0.80<x<$1.60
